Face of the day: Casual Neutrals

I went to my parents yesterday and wanted to do a pretty yet casual makeup look with a dark lip (because duh it’s fall).

First, I moisturized my face and sprayed a little Evian mineral water because our heater makes my skin extra dry. I primed my face using my body shop tea tree primer and put a little Rimmel matte bb cream on my hand. I like this bb cream, but the light shade is so dark :/ even with 3 pumps of my white manic panic it was still a little too dark for my skin.
I went on to my eyes while that set and did my brows using my Anastasia pomade in ebony with a dark matte brown powder over it.
I primed my eyes with my la girl concealer and used my makeup geek shadow in creme brûlée as a transition shade. I took out my favorite too faced natural eyes palette and put on the shade heaven on both my lids and brow bone. I then took cashmere bunny and blended it into my crease with a fluffy brush.
I created a wing with my physicians formula eye booster in ultra black and put on my red cherry lashes in #605 with wet n wild mega length mascara used for the bottom lashes.
Contour today was Jane cosmetics bronzer in “soft” (perfect for pale skin) and Kat Von D blush in Essex with my Mary Lou Manizer on the tops of my cheekbones for highlight. Everything set with my Nyx matte setting spray.
For my lips I used the creature lippie pencil and manic panic’s lipstick in daughter of darkness on top with just a little bit of manic panic bloody rose gloss on top.

I didn’t even want to fool with my hair today, so I’m rocking the braids. Paired with a slouchy hat I feel like this look came together nicely for a fall afternoon spent with my parents and babies. It was a fun day filled with laughs and enchiladas 🙂
