Hey lovelies,
Today’s post is going to be a bit different than normal. It’s the day before September starts, and September is always a fun month for me. I know I have mentioned this a million times, but I love fall. I love rosy cheeks and hot drinks. I love snuggling and wearing warm pajamas. I want to bring in the month where Autumn officially begins by wearing a different lipstick everyday. More specifically, I’m going to try and keep it fall themed.
I know the Lipstick Challenge already exists, so I am not claiming this as some new and innovative idea, just one that I’m putting my own little personal spin on, because I truly do feel so much happier when the weather is cooler. I also need to go through my collection and wipe the dust off of some of my old loves. Yes, I call my lipsticks loves. Don’t judge me.
I will be wearing a different lipstick/combo everyday in September, mostly focusing on deeper nudes, reds, and fun colors. Each Wednesday I will be posting my lip combos with pictures and such until September is over, and then I can start on Halloween things. Muahahaha!
Anyway, I’m posting this as an invitation to join me. If you want to, I will make sure to link your instagram/blog site in my post every Wednesday. Oh, and please do not think you need to be all about the vampy life to participate with me! If you want to do so just to go through your own stash and rekindle some old favorites, that’s lovely too, and I will totally still link you in the posts. I will try to find some way to share the love with everyone, whether it’s on Twitter or wherever.

Iiiiiiiiiiiii say we start with Halloween things now 🙂 It’s my favorite holiday. My son’s birthday is October 23rd so it’s “his” holiday 🙂 Anyways, this seems like a fun challenge and I can’t wait to see the results 🙂 You should do an Instagram post daily and then a weekly recap of all 7 combos on the blog!
Yes! I also wear dark lipsticks all year round, but there are some that I haven’t worn in way too long because I keep buying lipstick lol
Halloween is also my favorite holiday! I don’t know about posting on Instagram daily because I feel like I’ll annoy people, but I will definitely be doing a weekly recap and posting my favorite combos and some of my favorite posts from anyone that participates 🙂
