November Lip Monthly Unbagging

lip monthly november

Hey lovelies,

I am back after a relaxing and food filled birthday weekend (I turned 26 on Sunday, yay!) to show you all what I got in my November Lip Monthly Bag! I know I mentioned last month that I was wanting to see some more Fall/Winter shades starting this month from them, so if you’re interested in seeing if that happened, just keep reading.

Lip Monthly is a monthly subscription bag that arrives typically in the middle of the month for me, and is $10 per month. Like the name implies, they cater to lip product lovers like myself, and usually have 3 lip products and a “makeup mix up” product. However, this month I received 4 lip FULL SIZED lip products! I can’t complain about that. So, let’s get right on into what I got in my bag:

1. Mirabella Lip Pencil “Red Velvet” $25-Β  This products alone makes the bag over twice the value of what I paid. I have gotten a Mirabella lip pencil before, but it wasn’t a shade I personally enjoy. This shade is love though. We all know how I feel about red lipsticks, and I actually do enjoy the formula of these lip pencils. They’re very smooth and pigmented. I can’t wait to try this out with some holiday looks!

2. Beauty For Real Lip Gloss $22 I’m not too keen on lip gloss, but this is a cute product. It comes with a mirror and lights up, so it’s a lip product that I can totally throw in my purse if I need something quick on mornings when I’m rushing to get out the door. This is a pretty color, but I’m not a huge fan of glittery lip gloss.

3. Day/Night Chapstick (Price Varies) Oddly enough, I was excited to see chapstick in my bag this month. Usually, I’m annoyed with chapsticks, but I’m curious about this one because it’s double ended. I have used this a few times, and I quite like the night time side of this duo. It’s very hydrating and I’ve been applying it at night before I go to sleep, and when I wake up my lips still feel nice and soft. That’s saying something considering we’re entering the months where I breath through my mouth a lot at night. Asthmatic problems.

4. Ofra Liquid Lipstick in “Mina” $19.90 Okay, I almost squealed when I saw this was in everyone’s bag. I LOOOOVE the Ofra Liquid lipstick formula, and this shade is so gorgeous. The perfect Fall and Winter shade. If this was the only item in my bag, I would’ve been ecstatic. If you haven’t tried the Ofra liquid lipsticks, you need to. They’re pretty moussey in texture and are long lasting. I have worn Mina twice now since getting this bag, and I am head over heels in love with this shade. New favorite.

Bag Value: $67+

This bag was so high value this month. Overall, I am incredibly happy with the shades sent and the fact that there were a few familiar brands with some new ones. I foresee myself trying everything, but that Mirabella pencil and Ofra lipstick are going to probably be seen in some upcoming face of the day looks and youtube tutorials. They are so gorgeous.

If you’re subscribed to lip monthly, what were your thoughts on this month’s bag? Personally, I think that the shade choices were spot on for this time of the year, and I hope that bags like this continue to arrive inΒ  my mailbox!

  1. Happy belated birthday! πŸ™‚
I’ve never heard of a Lip Monthly but it makes sense to have a box focused just on lip products. Much better than all those beauty boxes where maybe ONE item is makeup, the rest are skincare / hair care samples.
That Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Mina is SO “you”, hah!

  2. I just recently found out about this bag and am considering subscribing. After seeing how awesome the products were this month, wow, I’m on it. Thanks!

  3. Thank you! And I agree, that’s actually why I cancelled Birchbox awhile back. I can handle a skin care or hair care item here or there, but my passion is makeup, especially lipstick lol.
