It’s Friday, yayyy! Oh wait, I’m a mom. My parties now consist of being elbows deep in diapers. 😉

I really enjoy putting together my favorites for the week, and I hope you all enjoy them too!

1. Lasplash decided to sell their holiday set separately make them permanent! YES! I didn’t order the holiday set because there was really only one color that I wanted since I don’t have anything like it, and that was Ghoulish. I received a free gift as well, and I can’t wait to use the brown eye pigment in “maple sugar” that was sent to me. No idea why I didn’t think to use my ipad for filming, but I’m also not great with technology. I bought a tripod adapter for my ipad, and I can’t wait to film with it and see if it is an improvement from the camera I was using! If anyone has vlogged with an ipad before, care to share any tips?

3. I scored a really adorable new velvet dress for $7 at Marshall’s this week. It was the last one in my size. That means it was meant to be, right? I may have to cut the netting to make it breastfeeding friendly, but for $7 I don’t care to alter it a bit. I love these types of dresses on my figure. They cinch in the perfect spots and help my curves look nice rather than blah.

4. Makeup favorites for the week: I have been trying to come up with a Valentine’s Day look, so I have been playing around with my Urban Decay 3 palette, and I forgot how much the colors in this palette make my green eyes pop. I feel this palette doesn’t get a lot of love from many people, but it is a pretty palette. I’ve been pairing it with colourpop’s “Lumiere” all week and I have swatches of all my lippie sticks here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHxsO5NYZ5I

It’s just a really pretty dark dusty rose/mauve color. It’s a perfect everyday color, or can be worn with a smokey eye as a neutral. A color I think everyone should own…and it’s $5.

5. Mom favorite moment of the week: Piper is crawling! Piper is 7 months old now, for those that don’t know, and she’s finally crawling around. I say “finally” but in reality I have to vacuum twice a day because she always finds weird things in the carpet to try and eat. She’s also babbling constantly and will mimic me when I say “mama” with “baba.” SO CLOSE. I just want one kid to say “mama” before “dada.” Let this be my moment!
