Hey lovelies,

I know I don’t always post on Fridays, but I did upload a new video to my Youtube channel yesterday! It’s also a collab with Kaily from Hello Kaily which means you’re getting two videos! Well, technically four, because we’re both uploading “get ready with me” style videos next week *winks awkwardly*

I’m really happy that Kaily wanted to collab with me on this one, because I think with brand focused videos it’s awesome to see different points of view and an variety of products. That and if you’re nosy like me, you probably like to see why people prefer some products over another within a brand.

July Favorites!

Hey lovelies,

It’s the beginning of a new month, which means that I get to talk about all the things I’ve been loving on and around my face for the past month! Most of what I talked about was makeup, of course, but I did add a random favorite in there.

The question of the day is, what do you all like to see in favorites videos? I try to keep it down to my absolute favorites to avoid talking for 30 mins, but I am always up for hearing feedback regarding my channel and content. Even though I film and post what I like, I do keep in mind that others watch me and I would hate to sound repetitive or put everyone to sleep.

Do you all like favorites videos with strictly makeup, or some skincare and hair stuff mixed with a few random things? Let me know!

Face of the Day: Purple + Graphic liner

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another weekly Face of the Day post! However, this week I actually filmed this look. I was feeling inspired and had a bit of free time (aka the babies were sleeping) so I sat down and played with makeup. I was feeling inspired by several things, the color purple and one of my favorite youtubers, ReeRee Phillips. If you’re not subscribed to her, she does very goth looks, but they are somehow artsy and wearable…or at least wearable to me. There’s something enchanting about her makeup tutorials, so if you’re not subscribed to her, check her out. I also love that she uses classical music as the background for her videos…I can only handle that whistling song so many times. I’m just being honest.

Primer: Hard Candy sheer primer

Foundation: Nars Weightless Luminous foundation “Mont Blanc” + Loreal Magi Lumi in W-1

Concealer: Nyx HD lavender + LA Girl HD concealer in “porcelain”

Powders: physicians formula correcting powder + Laura Geller balance and brightening powder in “porcelain”

Brows: Milani pomade in “dark brown,” nyx brow mascara in “black” ofra universal brown pencil, and Nyx control freak setting gel.

primer: maybelline color tattoo. Use whatever primer you have, I’m honestly just trying to use this little shit up.

Shadows: Nyx SOS (transition) Sugarpill 2 am, the dark purple from the High Flying Colors Wet n Wild palette, and the white shade from the Hemporary Solutions palette.

Liners: NYC liquid liner, physicians formula eye booster, Nyx liquid noir, Nyx white liquid liner

Mascara: Maybelline Falsies

Lashes: a demi wispy type of lash that I got off of ebay

Contour: Lunatick Cosmetic Labs cool contour kit

Blush: BH Cosmetics “Lilac” blush

Highlight: Colourpop “Hippo”

Lips: Urban Decay priming pencil + OCC “Technopagan”

Everything is set with Urban Decay’s all nighter setting spray.
