Medusa’s Makeup Bag March 2017

IMG_4939

Hey lovelies,

Long time no chat. Quick life update: I feel like I’m still adjusting to having 3 kids. There are some days where I feel like I have things handled, and other days where I’m sitting in the floor wondering, “Will this ever get easier?” So, that’s why I randomly pop in and out of here.

I do have a quick unbagging that I want to do. I’ve been subscribed to Medusa’s Makeup for several months now, and if you’re not new to my blog you probably already know that. Their subscription is still relatively new though. It’s a vegan/cruelty free option and costs $15.95 per month. I usually receive 3-4 full sized products. Typically, I’ve received a good mixture of eye and face products every month and a lip product. This has quickly become one of my favorite subscriptions!

Okay, let’s go over what I received in March.

  1. Stick it eye primer- At first I thought this was a previous item I received, but I mistook it for the glitter primer which comes in the exact same packaging. I love the glitter primer and I can’t wait to try the stick it eye primer! I prefer tacky primers when applying loose shadows on my lid.
  2. Lipstick in “Lydia”- this is a GORGEOUS lavender shade that’s perfect for Spring. I really love Medusa’s Makeup lipsticks and the packaging, so I’m happy to add another to my growing collection.
  3. Loose eye pigment in “Wasabi”- Green! Because of March! Okay, I truly do love shades of green eyeshadow so I know this one will get used. I love these loose shadows, especially under a dark base like Nyx’s jumbo eye pencil in black bean.
  4. Lip paint in “Get Lucky”- This is a new item to Medusa’s Makeup! I was so excited to try out their liquid lipsticks….but this one is bright pink. We all know how I feel about bright pink lipstick. However, I am curious about this formula so I will likely try it out one day when I’m at home doing nothing to see how it wears.

Overall thoughts: This bag was almost a total winner for me other than the bright pink shade of lipstick. I always feel that I get a good variety of products from this subscription, and I have not gotten bored yet with it all being the same brand. If you’re subscribed to this bag, what are your thoughts on it? I would love to hear them! If you want to sign up yourself, just go to medusasmakeup.com

They even take paypal, which is another plus for me and for anyone else that dislikes putting credit card info on sites.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this short and sweet little unbagging. Feel free to chat with me about anything in the comments.

Medusa’s Makeup Bag January 2017

img_3241

Hello Beauties,

Another day, another unbagging. If you’ve been on my blog before, you’ll know that Medusa’s Makeup is the newest beauty subscription I started to try, and it’s quickly becoming a favorite of mine!

Medusa’s makeup sends out 4 full sized products every month for $14.95. This brand is a vegan and cruelty free brand, and sells an amazing amount of varied products.

This month, I received two full sized eye products, a full sized lipgloss, and a cute little thing of beauty oil.

Spark Note (White glitter)– I have used this glitter constantly since I got it. You all know I love a glitzy and bold inner corner, and this is the perfect shade for me. It’s bold and it’s not too chunky so it adds the right amount of “ummph” to my smokey eyes. This is probably my favorite item this month by far, and I will likely run out of it.

Purple Rain (full sized eye pigment)– Ow, my heart has still not recovered from losing Prince. I love the name of this pigment, and the shade. Purple is probably the one color outside of neutrals I feel comfortable working with. I love how it looks against green eyes. In general I love the eye pigments from Medusa’s Makeup and I’m always happy to see them included in bags.

Space Kitten (gloss)– Okay, as much as I’m trying to use gloss more…I’m a little tired of getting them. I have several sitting around at this point and I’m looking at them like, “what do I do with you?” I might try the new eye trend and use it on my eyes though and see how that works. I just can’t stand the feeling of most glosses on my lips. I will wear one at some point and then go weeks without picking one up again.

Maracuja Oil– This looks like a tiny sample, but with oils that are 100% a very tiny bit is going to go a long way. I’m always happy to get beauty oils in my subscriptions bags. I have very dry skin so I use oils for about everything from skin care to blending out cream products on my face. I’m happy to add this one to my little stash.

That was everything in my bag from January. What are your thoughts on this subscription? I don’t have a referral link or anything, but if you’re interested in signing up, just go to medusasmakeup.com. It’s so easy, and they even accept paypal! I’m happy with this bag in general, and I always love getting full sized products that I know I will use.

If you have any vegan/cruelty free beauty subscriptions, send me some recommendations. I always love hearing from you all.

As always, thank you for stopping by and I hope you decide to stay for awhile if you’re new to my blog.

Pinch Me Sample Box

pinch me sample

Hey beauties,

How is everyone feeling this week? It hasn’t felt like Winter at all in the city I live in, so it’s really been throwing off my mood and stuff. I’ve been sneezy and my body is all kinds of confused.

Anyway, I was contacted by someone at Pinch Me and was asked if I wanted one of the exclusive blogger boxes. I agreed to it, and agreed to share with my followers in case anyone wants to sign up for their next sample day! With that being said, I did get this box for free. It’s a box filled with past present, and future samples that Pinch Me will send to those that sign up for the website.

If you’re unfamiliar with Pinch Me, it’s a site that sends out free samples of current and sometimes new products. I’ve gotten samples from them before, and it’s typically done on a first come, first serve basis. The samples tend to go fast as well, but look at some of the things you can get! It’s no wonder they go quickly.

jan_sampletuesday-1

As you can tell, there are samples for this Sample Tuesday that can suit anyone’s needs or wants! I’m going to keep today’s post short and sweet so that anyone interested can have ample time to create their own profile if needed and to get their own samples! Sample Tuesday starts at Noon est, so you’ll want to be sure to have your account set up prior to then.

You can sign up by clicking here

If you do decide to sign up and you snag some samples, please let me know what you got! I always love to hear from you all.

Also, another shoutout to Pinch Me for sending me this box of neat samples. I do not personally use Covergirl products, but I can gladly pass them on to my mother or gift them to others. Which is another thing to keep in mind! Even if you don’t personally want a sample, they always make cute little gifts for others.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you’re all having lovely days.

January Ipsy 2017

img_2875

Hey beauties,

Long time no talk! I know I have been MIA from here for a very long time, but I truly wanted to soak up every moment I could with sweet Lyrik while she was a newborn. She is the last daughter we will be having, so I decided to step away from Youtube and my blog to really focus on her and myself. However, things are calming down and she’s finally sleeping more on her own, so I have more time to come back to blogging. And what better way to come back than with an unbagging?

If you’re unfamiliar with Ipsy, it’s a monthly beauty subscription that costs $10 per month. I normally receive my bags mid month, and there are 4-5 full sized or deluxe sample sized products in each bag.

This month’s theme was Metropolis. The bag is supposed to resemble skyscrapers and such, which is cute, but not really up my alley at all. I will likely give the bag itself to one of my daughters to play with.

  1. Trust Fund Beauty lipgloss in Method to the Madness– this is a deluxe sample, but it still has a lot of product in it! Normally, glosses are not my thing…or nude lip shades. However, I’ve been into trying new shades lately and really trying to push myself out of my comfort zone. I can’t wait to try this product out, regardless.
  2. The Balm Bahama Mama Bronzer– this is a product that is constantly talked about in the beauty community. I see it raved about often on Instagram and Youtube. The Balm is one of my favorite brands! I just dislike these tiny face samples. There’s no easy way to get a brush on them for one, and two, they just get lost in all my things and I always reach for full sized products over them. I will give this a try though and see if it works on my fair skin. Most bronzers don’t work for me though.
  3. Ciate London top coat nail polish– I am constantly painting my nails, so I find this product to be one I will definitely get use out of, and it’s full sized!
  4. Pacifica blush in Wildrose– I LOVE Pacifica products. They’re one vegan brand I am always down to try, and this blush is so gorgeous. How did Ipsy know rose shaded blushes are my favorite? How sweet of them.
  5. Real Chemistry 3 min luminous peel– I have been really into peels and face masks lately. My hormones are still settling back 3 months post partum and my skin has been suffering the biggest blow from mother nature. I’m excited to try this, and can totally do a separate review on this for anyone interested since I do have sensitive skin.

Overall, I am happy with the products I received in my bag this month! I feel that by consistently reviewing my products every month I have finally started to get more products I will for sure use. I will say I’m making a more active effort to use up the teeny samples chilling out all over my house this year. It’s one of my beauty resolutions for 2017. If you’re interested in signing up for Ipsy yourself, I have a referral link.

If you’re also an Ipsy subscriber, feel free to tell me what you received in your bag lately or what your favorite thing from them lately has been! I’m always happy to chat with you all in the comments.

I know this post has been short and sweet, but I promise I’m back for real. I can’t wait to catch up with everyone! As always, thanks for stopping by and reading. Have a lovely day!

Lip Monthly August 2016

lip monthly

Hey lovelies,

I have another subscription unbagging today! I’ve been subscribed to Lip Monthly for awhile now, over a year or so. I’ve mentioned my thoughts on them numerous times. but I do highly enjoy their monthly subscription service.

For $12.95 a month (also ships international), you get four normally full sized products. There’s usually three lip products and one “makeup mix up” which can be about anything. Sometimes it’s hair/skin care and other months it’s eyeshadow or blush. I always look forward to this bag and I find myself actually trying the items in my bag since they’re full sized. Tiny samples can get lost in a deep abyss of “try later” stashes hidden around my vanity. Full sized products are just easier to see, in my opinion.

If you want to save 55% on your first bag, enter the code Kayla55!

Anyway, this month I was sent four products. Two of which can be used on the cheeks and lips! Anyone else love multifuncitonal products? I do. I like to stick them in my bag if I’m running errands all day or if I’m super busy. It saves room in my purse and I cut down on the “hand to purse” time looking for products to quickly freshen up my face. Okay, enough, rambling, let’s get on to what was in my bag:

1. Hikari Cosmetics Dual Color Stick $15– This is one of the multitasking products I mentioned before. This can be used on the lips or on the cheeks as a cream stain. There were a couple of different shades sent out, and I received the orange one. I’m not too sure how I feel about the shade. I know I’m shaped like a pumpkin right now, but I don’t want to relive the “pumpkin face” days from my childhood with orange cheeks. The shade would definetely work on someone with a deeper skin tone though!

2. Manna Kadar Lip Crayon $24– This is the second Manna Kadar product I’ve gotten through Lip Monthly, and I’m not complaining. The last item was a gloss and I ended up liking it so much I took it to the beach with me and wore it everyday as a quick nude. I love the shade of this crayon and it’s totally one I can see myself wearing while running errands or for everyday wear around the house.

3. Seraphine Lip/Cheek Gel $20– This brand is a vegan and cruelty free brand and I highly enjoyed the lip stain we received from them a few months ago. I love the packaging, and the gel consistency of this product blends out really well, so I know I can wear it on my cheeks and on my lips if I need a quick wash of color. The shade of this one is one I can wear as well. It’s a deeper pink, but I think this will look lovely in Fall. Flushed cheeks, anyone?

4. Lord & Berry Lip Liner $10– I have received quite a few products from Lord & Berry, and I really love their lip products! This lip liner is a rose shade, and it pairs perfectly with the lip crayon this month! I’ve already used this liner, and it applies so smooth, but not too smooth like the Colourpop ones, so your lipstick is going to stay in place and not feather out throughout the day.

Overall Bag Value- $69

This month’s bag was very high value! I am excited for every product in this bag, and I will even try the Hikari one out just to see if I’m wrong and I can find a use for it. I’m most excited for the lip crayon and pencil though. I’ve been able to try several brands through Lip Monthly that I had never thought to try myself, which is one of the biggest reasons why I’ve remained subscribed.

I hope you all enjoyed this unbagging. If you’re subscribed to lip monthly, let me know your thoughts in the comments! I have more posts regarding this subscription if you type “lip monthly” into the search bar on my blog page. It will show you previous bags and reviews from over the course of a year.

As always, thank you for stopping by and reading this post. I hope you’re all having wonderful days.

What’s in My Makeup Bag

IMG_8665

Hey beauties,

I’m back with a post about the things currently in my “everyday” makeup routine. If I’m  not filming or trying out new products, I do have a specific set of products I almost always reach for. Maybe it’s a comfort thing. These are all products that I know work for me and look great on my skin and will  last throughout the day. With two young children and one on the way, I need some long lasting everyday products on days when I’m just out running errands or playing with my kids.

Nyx Born to Glow Primer– I use this primer pretty much everyday. It’s replaced my Too Faced HangoverX primer for the most part. I love the subtle glow it gives to my face and it definitely brightens my complexion up, which is something I need during pregnancy so I don’t look dead and dull. This primer is also relatively affordable!

IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream in Fair– I LOVE It Cosmetics products, and that will be mad every clear in this post. I appreciate their anti aging ingredients and how gentle they are on my skin. Their face products are something I recommend to everyone. The CC cream is light weight, but still has a medium coverage, so it’s what I look for overall in an everyday foundation. I do have to mix a white foundation in with this though, but it’s worth it. I have a back up for this CC cream, that’s how much I use it.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye + Illumination– I ordered this off QVC once when they had a deal on several It Cosmetics products. This is one that I use constantly. I have really dry skin and concealers can easily crease under my eyes, but this one doesn’t. I use the tiniest amount on the back of my hand and use a finger to warm it up and apply it that way, because trust me, a little bit of this will go a very long way. I’m in the shade light and this shade does brighten my under eye area up and corrects my intense dark circles, which is immensely appreciated.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Powder– This is another product that came in the QVC set I ordered. I didn’t know how this would set on my skin, but I surprisingly love it. I don’t use this to set my entire face. I typically only use it on my nose, chin, and forehead. You know, the places that pores are visible on everyone. This powder truly does blue out pores. It’s made of magic, I swear.

Becca Cosmetics Highlighter in Moonstone– I have almost hit pan on this highlighter. I can see the little rim shape poking through, and I am both happy and sad about it. I really do love this highlighter. When I don’t want a super intense highlight but I want one that flatters my skin tone, I reach for this one. It gives me a nice and natural glow on days when I’m not trying to signal alien life forms in space. It’s worth every penny, in my opinion.

Urban Decay Chill Setting Spray– I love Urban Decay setting sprays. I used to use the all nighter, but I wanted to try the Chill setting spray to see if there’s an obvious difference. I do feel the Chill setting spray works out a little bit better on my skin type, and it does feel really refreshing when you spray it. I have to be careful not to spray too much…it’s expensive.

Milani Bigger Better Lashes– Okay, if you watched my favorites video from a few months ago, I mentioned that I didn’t like the reformulation or whatever Too Faced did to the Better than Sex mascara. I think I have found my replacement. The Milani one has a big volumizing brush and is only $8 at most drugstores. I don’t like the little wonky ball thing on the end though. I have no idea why that’s a thing with a lot of mascaras right now. I feel like it’s about to poke my nose and ruin my day.

Jesse’s Girl Liquid Liner Pen in Black– This is a straight up dupe for the Kat Von D tattoo liner, but only costs $7 on the Jesse’s Girl website. This liner has a calligraphy type brush, which is my personal favorite to work with. It makes it easy to create a very dark and straight line and to get your wings even. When your wings are even, your life is in balance. We all know this.

Korpse Cosmetics Immortal Veil– This is an indie brand that I have only recently discovered through youtube, but I can’t put this immortal veil down. There’s something about this powder that sets my under eye makeup all day, and doesn’t crease at all, even after being outside. This is almost unheard of for me and my eye type. I’m about to purchase a larger size of this to put in my makeup kit because it really is an amazing translucent powder. My only beef is the packaging can make the powder be a little messy, and I really hate feeling like I’m wasting product.

Notoriously Morbid Fruit Loops Chapstick- Fun fact: I’m obsessed with anything that smells like fruit loops. If it smells like process sugar and lemon, I’m on it. It’s a problem. So naturally, the Notoriously Morbid fruit loops chapstick is one I reach for everyday. It’s like an adult way to feel childhood nostalgia. Because lip care is adulting, right?

Baby Bat Beauty Lip Scrubs– I use these lip scrubs constantly. I scrub my lips everyday because I wear matte lipsticks almost everyday. The baby bat beauty ones are cruelty free, vegan, and are very affordable at $6 each. Oh, and I have a coupon code. If you enter the code “lunafayebeauty” at checkout on babybatbeauty.com you can save some money. I highly recommend any of the scents that are cupcake/marshmallow related. The pumpkin spice one is also nice if you’re into it.

I believe that’s everything that I wanted to talk about that’s in makeup bag at the moment. Things like lipstick and eyeshadow are never a constant for me, but I do have a “go to” face routine for the most part. If you have have some holy grail types of products you would like to share, please feel free to do so in the comments!

As always, thank you all for reading, and I hope you’re all having wonderful days.

Medusa’s Makeup Beauty Subscription August 2016

medusa's makeup

Hey beauties,

Long time no chat. I’m back today with a relatively exciting new unbagging. I was on Instagram and I saw this neat little beauty subscription floating around from Medusa’s Makeup. Some brands (like elf) have brand specific beauty subscriptions, but I haven’t personally seen many. What really caught my eye was that this is a vegan and cruelty free brand! So, this was pretty new and exciting to me. I decided to give it a try and I subscribed last week.

This beauty subscription is monthly, and it’s $15.95 per month, shipping including in the US but there is a $4 charge for international subscribers. Each bag is promised to have 4-5 full sized products from Medusa’s Makeup, amounting to close to $40 (per their website).

I subscribed last Friday, and I received my August bag on Thursday, August 18. So, the turnaround time from subscribing to having your bag in your mail box is pretty quick, in my opinion.

Moving on to what was in my bag this month, I received 2 full sized lip products and 2 full sized eye products. My two favorite types of makeup products to play around with! I was already very impressed and excited from that alone. Another reason why I’m excited is because I haven’t tried too many things from this brand in particular. I’ve been subscribed to Ipsy and others for so long, I feel like I’m starting to get duplicates and things that I will never use and just get tossed aside. For me, full sized products are easier to see, and thus, easier to try and use.

Okay, let’s get into what came in the bag:

1. Lipstick in Baroque $12– I really love the packaging of these lipsticks! Even the box is adorable. This shade is a purple-y pink shade with a little bit of a sheen to it. I do like shades like this, so I’m excited to try this one out and the formula. I kinda miss my classic bullet type lipsticks after all the liquid lipstick hype.

2. Lipgloss in Lover Boy $9– I also really love the packaging of this gloss. I actually already have a gloss by Medusa’s Makeup from a past Lip Monthly bag, and I do remember liking the formula and I didn’t find it to be too sticky. This is a very bright pink, and we all know how I feel about pink. Not too sure how much use I will personally get out of this gloss, but it is a really nice product and shade.

3. Eye Dust in Brown Sugar $7– I love loose shadows and eye dusts! These are some of my favorite products to receive and play around with. This shade is a really deep and rich shade of brown, which will be perfect for Fall when warm and burgundy smokey eyes come back to grace the makeup scene.

4. Eye Glitter in Ozone $7– This is such a pretty shade of blue. Blue is a shade that normally scares me, but I’ve been trying to use it more, especially after seeing the many blue and glittery smokey eyes Risa Dexter does on Instagram. I love glitter, and I hope to get more from this brand in the future.

Overall value: $35

Definitely not a bad mix of products for a beauty subscription. The great thing about this subscription is that you can cancel at any time, there are absolutely no strings attached. So, if you see a month’s bag that you want and you only want that bag, you can subscribe and get it, and cancel and do it as you wish. I honestly think that’s awesome, and maybe that’s a perk to an actual brand running their own subscription. They don’t exactly rely solely on the amount of subscriptions there are, so people can pick and choose as they please.

I’m very happy with this subscription so far, and I will remain subscribed. So, if you want to see more reviews on this and my other subscriptions, make sure you follow me or sign up for emails. You can also follow me on other social media sites.

As always, thanks for reading, and I hope you’re all having wonderful days.

Glamour Doll Eyes Review

glamour doll eyes

Hey lovelies,

I have an indie brand to review today! Someone from Glamour Doll Eyes was kind enough to contact me and ask if I would be interested in reviewing and using some of their eyeshadows. I agreed after reading Phyrra rave about these and discovering that they are indeed cruelty free and have vegan options. We all know I’m an indie brand fan girl, especially with my eyeshadows.

I was sent 6 loose shadows of my choice to try. Their loose shadows are $6 each for full sized, and they have sample size options starting at a little over $1, which is something I love about quite a few indie brands. I have never used a whole eyeshadow…ever. It’s rare that I even hit pan on any. So, having an option to try a sample out is amazing, because then if I truly love it I can commit to a full size without feeling guilty.

First off, the packaging is pretty adorable. I love the little photo and logo on the lid. These also arrived without a sifter, which is a plus for me. I actually hate sifters in anything. I don’t know why, I find them to be super annoying. Maybe that’s just me.

IMG_7858

When I opened these up it was very reminiscent of my other loose indie brand shadows. Finely milled and super pretty. I tried to pick out some neutral matte and shimmer shades and a couple of fun shades to get a feel for all their formulas.

This is an online brand, which means you can only find them on the Glamour Dolls website.

My review: I found these eyeshadows to be easy to work with and blend out overall. They lasted all day on my eyes with primer, and are very pigmented. Loose shadows tend to be more pigmented, in my opinion, simply because it’s easier to get product on a brush. Now, as always with loose shadows, I recommend tapping your brush or putting your eye makeup on first before your face makeup. This will prevent fallout ruining your face makeup if you’re new to loose shadows. I’ve always enjoyed loose shadows though and own quite a few!

IMG_7859

Swatches from bottom to top:

Catrina: Not vegan. This is a gorgeous light purple with a blue/gold duo chrome effect. This shade is pretty light by itself and needs a glitter primer or white base to show up more true to shade.

Chivalrous: Vegan. Red with gold shimmer. This one was a little harder to swatch with a brush. Still a gorgeous shade if you love reds and gold.

Charming Society: Vegan. Sheer/White (on my skin tone) shade with green, blue, and gold shifts. This looks so stunning as an inner corner highlight! Probably my most used shade so far from what I have tried. Highly recommend.

Martini Olive: Vegan. Deep matte green. This shade is so lush and a must have if you love green and olive shades. This is my second most used shade because I have a thing for deep olives and forest green.

Unveil: Vegan. Deep almost maroon red with a slight purple shift. This shade is right up my alley for the crease and outer corner. Creates a gorgeous maroon smokey effect!

Undead: Vegan. This is described as a black shade, but in my opinion this is more maroon with hint of purple. This is still so lovely though! If you’re into intense shades this would be a great alternative to black in a smokey eye.

Overall, I love the shades I picked out and will definitely be purchasing some more myself in the future. I kind of want to check out some pressed shades. Many of the loose shadow shades are also in pressed form, which is pretty neat.

If you’re interested in purchasing any shades I mentioned here or in anything (except pressed products) I do have a coupon code. It’s not an affiliate code, just one specifically for my followers! Use the code lunafaye at checkout to save 15% on your entire order!

If you’re purchased from this brand before, what are your thoughts? Will you be making an order for any of these shades?

Tell me about your favorite indie brands in the comments! I’m always up to try new indie brands.

As always, thank for stopping by. I hope you all enjoyed this review!

June Lip Monthly Review

lip monthly

Hey beauties,

I know this is July and I’m reviewing a June bag, but it arrived in my mailbox close to the end of the month, and then birthdays and holidays happened. Better late than never, right?

I’ve been subscribed to Lip Monthly for a little over a year now. I think I signed up close to when they first started sending bags out. Ipsy is my only other beauty subscription besides this one.

If you’re unfamiliar with Lip Monthly, they’re a lip product focused subscription that costs $12.95 per month. They will even ship internationally, and I believe it’s at an affordable rate! However, I do have a coupon code that will make your first bag close to $6. My code is Kayla55.

Yes, it’s an affiliate code. However, I was subscribed to Lip Monthly way before I was offered a code with them. I stand by my opinions and will link more posts at the end.

Most months I’m sent bags with 3 lip products and one “makeup mix up” product. However, this month I was sent 2 non lip oriented products! Let’s go over what was in the bag:

Jelly Pong Pong Lip Butter– This retails at $18.95. Jelly Pong Pong is such a weirdly named cosmetic brand, but I have enjoyed quite a few items I’ve gotten from this brand from both Lip Monthly and Ipsy. This lip butter has the most adorable packaging! I love hot air balloons! This is also very reminiscent of the Tarte lip butters. I think if you enjoy more hydrating lip formulas, this one would be up your alley! I love the texture and think it’s nice everyday shade and formula for me.

Be a Bombshell Lip/Cheek Stick– This retails at $16. I’ve actually gotten one of these sticks in a past Ipsy bag and loved it! I enjoy cream products on my cheeks in the Summer, they tend to look better throughout the day in humid weather compared to using all powder products. The shade I received is a gorgeous rose gold shade! I’m excited to use this on my cheeks. I don’t know about my lips unless I use a brush, but I think this would make a pretty blush on fair skin!

Chrislie Lip Crayon- This retails at $13. I love this shade! Because it’s a lip crayon it’s a bit on the sheerer side, but it’s still deep enough in color where even I will wear it. The formula feels very hydrating as well.

Peony Cosmetics Highlighter– This was technically the makeup mix up product, and I love it! I hoard highlighters, and this is a gorgeous pinky shade that I can’t wait to pair with other highlighters in my collection. This retails at $22.

Bag total: $69.95

Overall thoughts: I love this bag overall way more than I did last month. Last month had a couple of goodies, but was overall not as spectacular as June’s bag. I will definitely be trying out all of these products!

Current Beauty Favorites

Hey lovelies,

I posted a new video on my youtube channel! I did’t post my May favorites and we’re into July, so I decided just to do my current beauty favorites.

Not a whole lot since it’s Summer and applying makeup makes me feel miserable at times, but there’s still quite a bit.

Please like it and subscribe if you want to see more videos! There’s also a giveaway linked in the description box.

Pregnancy update: I am now 28 weeks which means I am in my third trimester. That’s right, this is the home stretch…no pun intended. I am due in late September, and chances are I will have some things scheduled starting in September and then I will taking a short leave on all platforms, including Instagram, to soak up newborn love.
